2009 W2 For Nj Disability Taxes For 2009 I Live In & Work In PA But My Residence Is In NJ?

Taxes for 2009 I live in & work in PA but my residence is in NJ? - 2009 w2 for nj disability

The husband is military, we live in PA. I realized that New Jersey pay PA taxes, but not my license from New Jersey. I work and live here in Pennsylvania, also because of their work. Last year, before working in New Jersey father for two months, W2 is sent to my parents' house in New Jersey, but my new job in the PA is to my house to the AP sent. How do I get? You do not, I prefer this, then Turbo Tax and H & R Block, which exclude people.

First, no further knowledge of the relationship between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. They have a mutual agreement, where pay the bona fide residents of the state only to taxes on wages earned in another state for the state in which they live.

However, for the year 2009, you are not a genuine residents of New Jersey. Because they live in PA, you are a resident of the Palestinian Authority. The license has nothing to do with it. In 2010, change the rules. The spouses of soldiers who live in another state, can only with their military spouse is domiciled in the same state as the military spouse.

Where appropriate, income earned while in the Palestinian Authority, the Palestinian Authority must be reported. If you lived in the Palestinian Authority for the whole year, then you must declare all their income, the Palestinian Authority and residents throughout the year. If you lived in PA for less than a year, you have your residence year of AP.

If you, as your domicile in New Jersey, then all income should be in the world in New Jersey report. Just as you pay a credit for taxes to the Palestinian Authority. Read residency requirement in New Jersey, New Jersey web site.

In the case of her husband, usually by one person in the army, no matter where they are employed. In general, reported the government revenue only. So it depends on the situation.

Your tax home is where you work, so that your home is tax-AP
In what state is your husband's assertion that the record company?
It seems that 1040 to the state of the record company of her husband, PA-file of a sample of their income and, since her husband's house to the exclusion of the record of your earnings
New Jersey has nothing to do with your taxes for this (unless it is the home of the file) of her husband

Shoredud is correct. There is a new law this year. When is the reason, at Pennsyvania with military spouses, your income is not subject to taxation of Pennsyvania. Most bases have a site tax preparation help to resolve them. Those who know me are free.

Residence for tax purposes is determined by the license. In general, it is determined by where you live. If your husband was a civilian, then it is clearly a PA's stay. However, if you are temporarily in PA because of his military obligations, and intend to return to New Jersey when he is released, then you might be able to reside in New Jersey.

First, and in no way associated with the tax issue, if you only have a PA resident to obtain a PA license. In many states it is forbidden for a residence in this state, issued in this state without a license from that State. In other words, when issuing a license is valid and the state you are not resident and not a state in which they reside, but no license.

If you work established in the PA, New Jersey, you need to file in New Jersey resident and a non-return-PA residents. If you reside in PA, where you have worked in PA, then file a PA resident NJ return on your situation.

If you moved in 2009, then see if you qualify Deduct moving expenses.
